One of the live sessions

Mencap is the UK’s leading charity supporting people with learning disabilities, along with their families and carers.

After a turbulent 2020, they were keen to bring UK colleagues together to share insights and hear from renowned speakers.

The aim? To deliver a professional, cost-effective virtual event using their in-house team as much as possible.

Integrity provided a guiding hand and technical expertise, while ensuring the client always felt in control.

Not all Mencap workers in the field are familiar with Microsoft Teams or Zoom, and they needed an easy-to-use solution which allowed smooth transition between plenary and breakout sessions. After comparing various platforms for production quality, branding opportunities, cost, accessibility and ease of use, they opted for Zoom. Its breakout functionality met their needs perfectly.

We were on hand to set up each session in the desired format and – on event days – sat discreetly alongside to offer support so the team could focus fully on their sessions and each other.

The result? A triumphant event, high engagement and a positive, refocused internal team.
