- Virtual event
- 300+ attendees
When the pandemic prevented global apparel supplier AWDis from showcasing the latest ranges via their usual channels, we were delighted to help them deliver their first-ever virtual event.
As the Business Development Team was launched within the business at the end of 2020, with the purpose of establishing direct communication with its customers, the event provided a great platform for announcing this new business function to their audience.
This leading global provider of quality casual branded garments usually keeps customers up to date by exhibiting at fashion events and tradeshows. Naturally, they were keen to present a slick professional event on a par with their engaging live shows.
Vogue goes virtual
As this was new territory for them, we applied our expertise in virtual events to guide them at every step of the planning process.
The dynamic appeal of their modern fashion deserved a platform to match, which they could customise with their own brand personality. They also needed to enable easy registration and communication for delegates (including Q&As) and provide a user-friendly process for attendees. Together we talked through the tech jargon and platform options and found an approach that would beautifully showcase the vibrant AWDis brand.
Our team also managed the distribution of branded merchandise to attendees and collaborated with the virtual event presenters and host –Scottish model Nadia Faccenda – to finetune their presentations and ensure everyone felt comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
A showcase in style
The result was a successful, high-energy event that went beyond the client’s expectations and won impressive levels of customer engagement.
